WE’RE HIRING: HEAD OF PROGRAMME
WHAT’S THE ROLE?
The Head of Programme is a new senior role at ODAC created to continue the sustainable development of impact at the borders of arts creation and community action. It’s a key role that combines senior producing, budget management, fundraising, partnership development, safeguarding, impact measurement and evaluation.
The Head of Programme will work closely with the Creative Director & Chief Executive, to push ahead our Strategic Plan, fundraising and overseeing complex community-facing programme delivery and providing further strategic unity between strands.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a versatile senior producer committed to the power of the arts in society. This is a role for someone experienced with participatory and socially-engaged arts practices, building and managing cross-sectoral partnerships, with a fully-rounded experience of developing, fundraising, project managing and evaluating projects.
We’re looking for someone with significant management experience, calm and caring under pressure and confident with complexity. Someone equally comfortable talking to senior local authority figures, regeneration professionals, artists, local residents and members of the homeless community.
INCLUSIVITY
Diversity and inclusion are critical to our mission, and we need a truly diverse workforce that reflects the communities that we serve. ODAC is committed to continuing to develop a team with diverse skills, backgrounds and lived experiences. We actively encourage applications from those who are under-represented in our organisation and marginalised in the arts and charity sectors, including those who have faced socio-economic barriers.
Due to the nature of our programmes, we encourage applications from people with lived experience of life in Regent’s Park Estate, Euston or comparable communities elsewhere, and/or with lived experience of homelessness*. (*This includes all forms of homelessness, including but not exclusively rough sleeping, sofa surfing, living in temporary accommodation, squatting, and living at risk of violence.)
