INTRODUCING OUR NEW HEAD OF PROGRAMME: LARA TAYLOR
Following a very competitive recruitment process, we’re pleased to announce that Lara Taylor will be joining ODAC as our new permanent Head of Programme in October, working four days per week.
Lara is a senior producer, specialising in socially engaged arts practice and cross-sector partnership. She spent six years at the National Theatre as Producer for Public Acts - the NT’s nationwide initiative creating large-scale productions, in partnership with community and arts organisations.
Previously, Lara was Co-Director of Mini VAULT Festival as well as Producer at Battersea Arts Centre and the Lyric Hammersmith. In these roles she programmed and produced festivals and shows as well as managed a broad portfolio of youth and adult participation programmes.
Across her career Lara has advocated for participatory arts as a tool for social change and a route to produce high quality artistic work.
Daniel Pitt, Creative Director & Chief Executive said:“Lara’s appointment marks another bound forward in the ongoing development and ambition of ODAC’s participatory, community-powered programme. The whole recruitment process was an honour to meet so many outstanding candidates and felt like a vote of confidence in what we’ve been building here in Euston over the last few years. I can’t wait to plot out and refine the next steps with Lara and the team.”
Welcome Lara!
