A day filled with celebration and community, a variety of performances from traditional dance to local choir, workshops, market stalls, free food, and a vibrant parade to celebrate South Asian Heritage Month and our local community. All happening on the streets and spaces of Regent’s Park Estate and Regent’s Place.

Remix Dance is a community dance project, delivering free weekly Street Dance classes - and performance opportunities - to children and young people of 5-16 years from the Regent’s Park Estate and the local area.
1:40PM CROSSWORD LYRIC
Crossword Lyric will be performing a short set of collaborative music and poetry performances, with an impromptu freestyle at the end.

2:00PM (& 4:00PM) DANCE PERFORMANCE BY BOLLYFLEX
Fusing traditional Indian dance with modern stagecraft, Bollyflex is a premier dance production company creating high-energy, unforgettable performances.
2:25PM DANCE PERFORMANCE BY DASH DANCE
Dash Dance London is a Ukrainian dance community based at ODAC, bringing together people through dance, creativity and shared experiences. Our programme is a collection of different choreographies performed by our various groups, celebrating Ukrainian culture alongside contemporary dance.
3:00PM “ROOTS TO RISE” BY NANDITA SHANKARDASS
Dance theatre following a journey of three women as they reconnect with the earth, ancestral wisdom, and to the futures emerging on the horizon, celebrating freedom, resistance and community. Come dance with us in our finale! This show was supported through ODAC's New Narratives programme.

4:25PM REGENT’S ROYAL TWIRLERS (MAJORETTES)
With over 40 years of history on the Regents Park Estate, Regent’s Royal Twirlers are proud to showcase a selection of their exciting baton twirling routines.
4:45PM SPIVANKA (TRADITIONAL UKRAINIAN SONGS)
“Spivanka” translates to “sing-along” in Ukrainian. We meet to sing Ukrainian songs, talk about culture and explore the meaning of old folk music in the modern context and our lives. Spivanka is excited to share with you a short set of their favourite songs. Expect Ukrainian folk and more!
5:00PM “EVERYONE IS WELCOME” - SOUTH ASIAN HERITAGE MONTH PARADE
Harkiran Kalsi’s new mural “Everyone Is Welcome” takes prime position within the festival site. The mural is filled with messages of unity and ambition, provided by the children Harky met.
“Everyone Is Welcome”, the South Asian Heritage Month Parade is a community celebration that honours the diverse cultures and traditions of the eight South Asian countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Featuring traditional dress, music and community made artworks, the parade showcases the rich heritage, creativity and cultural identities of South Asian communities while celebrating unity, pride and connection.
Featuring design by Harkiran Kalsi. Featuring choreography by Hashna Siva. Commissioned by Camden Culture Service for South Asian Heritage Month, the procession has been made by the community through workshops between May and July.

Join Tunes on TAP at Regent’s Roots Festival – a lively set of feel-good songs played by a group of over-60s ukulele enthusiasts from Third Age Project. With toe-tapping tunes, warm harmonies, and plenty of heart, this joyful group will have you smiling, singing along, and celebrating the power of music to bring people together.

London Trans Choir presents an eclectic mix of songs from their 2026 repertoire, including some new compositions and some well known pop bangers that'll get everyone singing along.

3:25PM FYA PRESENTS GLORIA AND BLU GUMBO
FYA supports young people from in and around Camden and Westminster to lead community action and create positive change for themselves, their peers and their community. Showcasing talented youth in our community with performances from FYA youth.
3:45PM THE SIMON COMMUNITY’S UKULELE BAND
At the Simon Community, we have been providing support to people experiencing homelessness through street outreach since 1963. This Ukulele Band at ODAC is for anyone in the area who is experiencing or recovering from homelessness.

4:05PM HROMADA (UKRAINIAN SINGING)
Hromada Collective, a London-based Ukrainian folk singing collective, will perform polyphonies from different regions of Ukraine, featuring songs from the summer cycle, as well as other songs about love and life.

LET’S TWIST - KALEIDER - All day, drop in - Stanhope & Longford Street Junction
Kaleider invites you to twist and shape our sculptures. They are made out of interconnected prisms that can be twisted into thousands of different shapes. Every time someone changes the sculpture, they inherit their starting point from the people before them. By transforming the shape, they add to the sculpture’s story. Work together, or witness others playing.

Young people from Fitzrovia Youth in Action have selected what they thought residents would enjoy! The Story Trail Project is a celebration of the past, present and future of Regent’s Park Estate, promoting a sense of community, safety and connection through 11 unique art installations. Developed through community participation since 2021, this project has been conceived, shaped, and curated by residents as part of Community Champions Regent’s Park.

CAMDEN COUNCIL’S REGENT’S PARK ESTATE NORTH DEVELOPMENT
Camden Council is proposing to build new homes on Regents Park Estate North (RPEN), which includes Cartmel, Coniston and Langdale blocks; Stanhope Parade and the existing Children’s Centre and Family Hub.
Join the Council team and local artist Shazzy (Ar_Teawellness) for interactive, drop-in creative station that invites residents to process their thoughts and emotions through art and poetry and tote bag making.
CAMDEN COUNCIL MOBILE HEALTH BUS
The Camden Mobile Health bus offers free preventative diabetes risk checks, health information and advice to support residents to make positive health and wellbeing choices, and to prevent people aged 30 and over from developing serious health conditions in the future.
