The Regent’s Park Estate Community Festival Gallery

In a word, the The Regent’s Park Estate Community Festival was joyous - so many people, neighbours, coming together to chat, share stories, watch, dance, play, sing and eat together. We wanted to share some of the wonderful pictures taken by Zbigniew Kotkiewitz and Claire Haigh that helped to capture the friendly, happy, and supportive atmosphere that was created by the (approximately) 1200 people from our local community.

The festival was initiated by Community Champions Regent's Park - a group of volunteer residents and organisations working to improve wellbeing through social action in the area. It co-produced by Fitzrovia Youth in Action and Old Diorama Arts Centre, with support from many others, and programmed with local residents and young people.

For ODAC, we're an arts and community centre without performance spaces, so a festival is perfect opportunity to present arts projects for and with our community. We look forward to it becoming a focus of our year round work.

Special thank you to all the performers, contributors and collaborators who made the Regent’s Park Community Festival such an exciting and vibrant afternoon.
