WHO’S MISSING FROM YOUR SESSIONS AND WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE THERE?

WHEN? Evening of Monday 7 July, doors open at 6pm - session running from 6:30-8pm.

WHERE? At ODAC

A free session exploring practical strategies to find and engage the people we most want to reach, with participation expert Joanne Stapleton.

An opportunity to share our collective experience, challenges and best practice around finding, engaging and encouraging participation amongst the people we most want to reach.  Topics for discussion will include:

  • Who are the people we really want to reach and what stops them from engaging with our offer ?

  • How can we create steppingstones towards participation for people with 'it's not for me' preconceptions about community arts?

  • What's fixed and what's flexible about how we deliver and make our offer more inclusive?

  • What are our top pick up and use practical take aways?

Jo Stapleton, based at Age UK Camden, is an Outreach Specialist and part of a national Good Practice Mentor team - a funded resources sharing best practice, training and support around finding, engaging, codesign and coproduction with the people we often think of as 'harder to reach'.
