REGENT’S PARK ESTATE: COMMUNITY-LED MURAL PROJECT

ODAC is delighted to share that we’ve been commissioned by Camden Council to deliver two vibrant new community-led murals for Regent’s Park Estate to be located on Stanhope Street and Robert Street.

We are excited to be working with two fantastic artists: Olivia Twist, an Illustrator and Educator from East London, and Harkiran Kalsi, an illustrator, lettering artist, and muralist also based in London.

The artists will be running a series of hands-on, creative community workshops for residents to share their ideas and help design the two new murals for Regent's Park Estate!

THE ARTISTS

Olivia Twist

Olivia Twist is an Illustrator and Educator from East London with a socially engaged practice which centres on community.

The key threads found in her work are place, the mundane and overlooked narratives. Her visual language comprises a myriad of esoteric layers informed by a propensity for human-centred research methods.

As a practitioner, she aims to provide her audience with 'the shock of the familiar' and to trigger greater intergenerational discussion.

She has a particular interest in participatory design, relational aesthetics and documenting social history as it unfolds.

Olivia’s work can be found in the permanent collection of the Museum of London. She has designed a special edition Air Max 95 Sneaker for Nike. Her practice spans artists' residencies both here and abroad, Apple Music advertising campaigns, workshops for the National Portrait Gallery, editorial illustrations for Penguin, and murals for local youth groups.

Harkiran Kalsi

Harkiran Kalsi is an illustrator, lettering artist, and muralist based in the UK. She creates bold, bright, joyful work — whether that’s big murals, fun lettering, or illustrations for campaigns, products, packaging, books, or digital. You’ve probably seen some of her work with brands including Nike, New Balance, EA Sports, EFL, CBBC, IMG, Channel 4, BBC Creative — and lots of lovely indie brands and creative projects too.

“I’m all about bringing ideas to life, collaborating…and having some fun along the way.”

In my spare time, you'll find me out running—I have completed 11 marathons (and counting!). I am also the co-captain of Women Make Moves London, a running crew that empowers women to get moving, build confidence, and make meaningful connections along the way.
