REGENT’S ROOTS FESTIVAL

Regent’s Roots returns for a fourth year with another fun-filled festival, celebrating the diversity of our local community! This year, even more of the fantastic groups ODAC supports will be sharing their passions and showcasing their work with the community.

With circus-theatre from Joli Vyann, South Asian dance from Beeja, and Camden Collabs, plus performances from FYA’s Young Singers and ODAC’s Remix Dance. There’ll be workshops from textiles to Ukrainian singing, and creative workshops with One Roof, exploring where we lay our roots.

Free delicious food from Masala King will be served from 1pm – it’s set to be a brilliant afternoon. Come and celebrate with us, our community, and friends!

PROGRAMME FEATURES:

  • Circus-theatre for the summer holidays with Life's A Beach by Joli Vyann 

  • Beeja - Anusha Subramanyam Company return with their exquisite South Asian dance

  • ODAC’s local youth dance legends Remix Dance return with new cross-cultural choreography

  • Intergenerational Ukrainian company Dash Dance

  • Sing-a-long music and choirs and performances from Regent’s Park Singers, Simon Community Ukulele Jam, and West End Calling.

  • Community group and services marketplace including Job Hub Regent’s Park, Hopscotch, and the Naz & Matt Foundation.

  • Workshops from Roundhouse, Crochet Club and ODAC’s Neighbourhood Makeshop.

  • Poetry-meets-music with Crossword Lyric
