WE’RE HIRING: OPERATIONS & HIRES TEAM MEMBER
WHAT’S THE ROLE?
As part of the O&H Team, you’ll report to the Operations & Hires Manager, delivering a welcoming service to artists and the local community while ensuring the centre remains safe and well-presented. You’ll handle studio hire enquiries, respond promptly to requests, assess group needs, and manage bookings.
With the centre open 78 hours per week, including late evenings Monday–Thursday, you’ll help open and close the building, occasionally working alone for up to an hour. You’ll also set up studios and, in the management team's absence, take responsibility for safety and security.
Join our small but growing team and play a key role in shaping the experience of our visitors and users.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re seeking a confident, hands-on individual with a can-do attitude to help us be the best arts and community centre we can be. This shift-based role offers flexible hours across the week, from Monday to Sunday. We value work-life balance and support mixed portfolio careers—many of our team do this.
Familiarity with Camden communities or the theatre/TV/film industries is a plus, but we welcome applicants with diverse career paths. Experience in customer-facing or administrative roles is beneficial, but not essential. There’s potential for growth and additional shifts in the role.
INCLUSIVITY
Diversity and inclusion are critical to our mission of local community cohesion, and we need a truly diverse workforce that reflects the communities that we serve. ODAC is committed to continuing to develop a team with diverse skills, backgrounds and lived experiences.
