WE’RE HIRING: OPERATIONS & HIRES TEAM MEMBERS

WHAT’S THE ROLE?

The Operations & Hires Team Member is a 12-hour per month (minimum) role. As part of the ‘O&H’ Team, you would be reporting to the Operations & Hires Manager and are responsible for delivering a high-quality, welcoming service to an array of visitors from our artistic and local communities, and ensuring that the centre itself and all facilities are safe, welcoming and well-presented.  You would also be responding to all studio hire enquiries, providing quick and attentive responses, assessing groups’ needs and booking them into our diary system.

This is an opportunity to join our small but growing team, and to make a key impact in the welcome and service that our visitors and users receive.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for someone confident, hands-on, and proactive, with a can-do attitude and a strong understanding of the performing arts industry. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who is actively engaged in community-led or participatory work, and who cares about making the arts accessible, inclusive, and rooted in the people around us.

This is a role for someone comfortable working across both professional and grassroots contexts—you might be welcoming a commercial rehearsal in one studio, while supporting a local community group or first-time makers in another.

INCLUSIVITY

Diversity and inclusion are critical to our mission of local community cohesion, and we need a truly diverse workforce that reflects the communities that we serve. ODAC is committed to continuing to develop a team with diverse skills, backgrounds and lived experiences.
